you can extract the textures from a pssg file with 3dsimed (from 2.6 version) but unfortunately, not the shapes (HighLod.pssg)

Wasted my money on it or at least for now until they bring out some 12Gig update to fix all the problems. For me the biggest disappointment is Anthony Davidson and the dribble that came out of his mouth about how the game caters for all driver from beginner to hard core, it's clearly an Arcade style game.

compared to all the other F1 console titles, it's surely the closest to a simulator. But not compared to a serious PC racing game like GP4, GPL, GTL or GTR (funny names btw).

it seems you have to put a G in the game name to have a good simulator

the damage texture is very refined,but something feels artificial.

The AI of GP4 is still unmatched by any other racegame today. I love to spectate a GP4 race to enjoy the brilliance of the AI. GP4 has stolen my heart, forever.

Hi my friend!

No, it is not possible to select the other cars during replay. But you can watch a full race replay. Maybe it will be possible to tweak this later...
Anyway, cockpit, T-cam and 2 rear views are available to play the game + a TV cam during replay...

I just play a f12010,
it is really beautiful on my pc but after stopping it and restarted gp4, I realized how gp4 is fabulous and how it became my drug number 2 after my wife.

Well, I just don't get it, sorry. This is not a sim and the makers never intended it to be so but you spend all your time inside the cockpit like it was a sim. I can't even call it an arcade game because you can't just go into the game pick a car and have a quick race and replay it and savour your moments. Instead you have to keep going through processes like if, .............. you guessed it. Like if it was a sim but it's not a sim.

There are no TV style views in case you don't feel like racing. You just want to watch the game and admire the cars and effects, naaaaaaaah. Too one dimensional for me. I won't play this, the DVD will go on a shelf some where until the only people who have a clue about F1 sim involvment do something about this 'Big Dog' without a bite. And those people are the fantastic modders that have breathed life and playability into almost every worthwhile sim available.

Yeah the graphics are good but what do you get to see, apart from your cockpit and the undulating track in front of you. There are no Panoramic views of the other cars and the surrounding country side.
I won't even bother with A.I. and all the other problems because it has already been said.

But i use only f12010 to race against my father with multiplayer because its a lot of trouble with gp4 when you try with multiplayer.
if someone can fix that(do not say i can use hamachi for multiplayer because i hate that) then gp4 is still unbeatble

hi all just wanted to add my view on f1 2010,i played it most of saturday and lets say im glad ive still got gp4,i play with a game pad and to be honest gp4 is miles better.in f1 2010 its dam hard to keep car on the track at times and the warnings are a pain in the bum...example i got shunted from behind and yet i get the warning??? there are other cases i could go into but you cant turn the warnings off.the ai well if they do pit in a 60 lap race which i know of 3 races that 3 teams didnt pit for the whole race,the weather well thats kind of a joke too as it rains then stops so quick,one minute the track is dry then its wet,so for real gameplay gp4 still leaves f1 2010 in the shadows.this is only my comments on it but advice would be not to buy it,try it first instore if you can and see what you think.whilst f1 2010 is new if the issues which im sure will be sorted i will forever still play gp4.god bless all and have a great day x

I find F1 2010 enjoyable but I will always go back to GP4

Also, having played a different F1 game it reminded me how great it is to have GPx Patch for GP4.
