New Interim PC System

I know quite a few queries like this have been asked but would appreciate any thoughts. I plan a new PC at the year end but can use a relatives machine for the next few months. It is a Pentium dual core 2.5 ghz with 1 mb ram but has an onboard Intel chipset so not great on the graphics side. I don't mind using lower res tex's but at present with my AMD 1.6 ghz and a basic Nvidia I can't run mods like the 1982 and 83 because there are no lower lods. Would appreciate any thoughts as to whether this would be feasible with the Pentium dual core. Many thanks.

Not with an on-board graphics chip. That type of machine is usually an office type of rig and not designed for gaming.

Okay thanks for that. I kind of suspected it with the Intel chipset.
