How do you mean? The clutch in GP4 is only used to knock the car out of gear for starting after a spin really and leaving the pits.

Why three question marks? Is this a sign of insanity (jk)?

c above:

in other words:

The clutch in GP4 is only used to knock the car out of gear for starting after a spin really and leaving the pits.

lol @ Vader!

I think what RAzTahZ means is has any1 tried it as an analog device?!

In digital mode it is used for knocking the car out of gear, yes, but in analog can you feed the clutch like a normal road car?

I haven't tried it yet... but I only have 2 pedals, so I wouldn't be able to use it!

You certainly can in GPL & Nascar 2002

in the calibration options you can even tailor the biting point of the clutch to set it as real as you like.

when downshifting i have make sure before i release the clutch that i have lets the revs drop otherwise it puts me into a spin when the gear is put into place and it suddenly brakes with the engine drivetrain.

But with upshifting i can put the clutch in to let the revs drop slightly if i'm putting too much power through the tyres

its totally realistic in GPL & Nascar 2002, but that could also be due to brilliant physics and FFB

LOL @ Vader (have we been here before?) :)

Using an analog clutch would be unrealistic though.... remember, nothing gets closer!
