Game of the year?

How on earth can this game be voted GAME OF THE YEAR?
you only have to read the various forums ans see for yourself the hundreds of incompatability problems - the various patches not working and the hundreds of advices given out to tweak this,patch that and update drivers etc - There is a definate marketing problem here - an issue that should be seriously addresses.

Ive just been thinking, GP4 is an excellent game if you look past the bugs and to its core, and based on that should come into the game of the year runnings. However, the game at the moment isn't really very complete, so its hard to say. I think you really have to know what they are basing it on: the game as a whole or the core of the game.

NASCAR Racing 2002 Season is the game of the year.
And I must say, they are right!!

It has the most realistic physic engine available (the one from GPL) and has so many features which GP4 does not have. It's really a pity, that Papy did not make a modern F1 sim

If they did make a modern F1 sim it would be fantastic. Perfect physics, stunning graphics, good AI and a range of features.
