gp4 with a wheel

Just got a Logitech Formula Force wheel working properly with GP4 for the first time recently. Is it just me, or does driving with a wheel make the game a hundred times harder (and fun)? I've been using it with the 2007 mod and it's absolutely brilliant. I'm having to really push to set decent laptimes on tracks where I could previously win at ace level using the keyboard, by about two seconds a lap. I'm very pleased the profiler is working too - I take a simple pleasure in the fact I can set the brake bias from my wheel in-game. Anyone else feel like gp4 is like a whole new game driving with a wheel?

Your comments are interesting. I have always had a wheel, so I cannot say anything on using a keyboard. When I drive my car into town, or to work, it has a wheel, and I could not imagine trying to drive it with a keyboard, or one of those stupid x-box type controllers.

Haha, mortal, that's a fair point . I think it's because I rarely drive a car, and for ages I used to play GP4 using a laptop keyboard. So when I played it using the laptop, I thought that GP4 was great, but that it was missing something without a wheel. Now I have the wheel, and it's the little things like the wheel twitching when you're travelling down a straight, that really amuse me. I feel like a bit of a child , but the game is just a hundred times better with a wheel.

well, you can pause when you drive a real life car either... so i guess you play a full lenght race in gp4 without doing anything else...
