Hi All,

Which is the best GP4 config file to reduce PO assuming Athlon 1400 and GF4 MX440 settings?

Which is the best to download and test and where can I download it?

Is there also a readme that explains what does it change and in which way?

Could it keen the game stabilty ?

I'm gonna thank you so much

Your best off really creating your own config file. Set the in game stuff to what runs fairly well, and then remove 32 bit colour and all the high detail mirror stuff etc, view distance etc and all the other bits and bobs which sound like prosessor hogs.

Ok, thanks.

Could you suggest me a basic changing to do ?

I mean most important ( 3/4 ) values to change and in which way.

I do not need sophisticated tweaking, only few key values to gain couple FPS or reduce PO.

Thanks in advance

Look for the original "Superfast GP4" thread started by Nuno, everything you need to know is in there :-)

If you look at the entries in the file, they are in categories. One of them is mirror view. If you turn most things off in the mirror (come on, admit it, you only need to see the cars, tracks and walls) it'll probably run a lot quicker.
