I'm worried

I have managed to get GP4 to work well on my system without any of those crahes that people suffer. My game is very satble and always runs.

I'm going to have to clean install windows though to get rid of a virus. Should it still work properly when I re-install, or is there the likelyhood of it going wrong?

Nobody has a clue because GP4 is so bloody crazy it'll not necessarily work on exactly the same computer!

I thought that this was a bit pointless. I'll just have to wait and see!

GP4 ran without bugs on my 350mhz. Yes, it looked terrible and ran at 0.5 fps and at half speed.....but it still ran.

On my 1.2ghz it tends to crash alot >

Take a copy of all the files in your GP4 directory, then, after your format install GP4 and overwrite all the files with the ones you took a copy of.

Still cant say 100% it'll work though

Patched GP4 runs on my machine better than ever and with no flaws at all.
At least I haven't come across any yet.

And i have re-installed winxp on my pc a few times.

If you are really worried, just keep a copy of your graphics config file and restore it later.

of course it's gonna work ... because if it doesn't something is definitely wrong ... so don't worry!

on the other hand .... if it doesn't work .... take it as a lesson to be more careful the next time you pick up advice from the Internet ... but most importantly!! don't worry!!
