How would this system run GP4:

Processor speed 2530 mhz
RAM Memory 512 mb DDR
Hard Disk Capacity 60 Gb
Graphics card memory 64 mb
OS Windows XP Home Edition
Graphics Description GeForce 4 MX 440 with TV Out
Sound Card AC97
Graphics port 4 x AGP

I'm getting a new PC soon and looking at prices and specs. This is £899. Is that any good?
How would a Radeon 9000 improve it?

Radeon 9700 kiskcs the SH*T out of GP4. I saw it frist hand running a P4 2.53 with 256 RDRAM and it did 40+ FPS at 1600x1200 res with full detail

What about the Radeon 9000 then? Still good. But how will that run atm without the radeon. 1024*780, 30FPS, all details max except videowalls and heat haze with PO rarely breaching 100% in the rain? That's what I would like

And that's what you probabaly get with these specs. Don't say you haven't been warned. This system might even rule and not drule (whatever that is - I still don't know what this word means)

I have that because of what Prost did to Alesi. Drule is definately BAD!!!

If you want to get a new vid card get the 9000 otherwise keep your geforce 3 ti200 its better then the geforce 4mx.

I have a 1.73ghz proccessor with that graphics card, I'm getting between 30-33fps, po rarely above 100

Yep, that's what was I was thinking of, too. Just that a tongue hanging south and saliva flowing free does not automatically mean you are a loser. You could also be horny or hungry. For some people this is the same. (If you can't eat or .... hehe)
