Need help with CSM

Hello everybody

I know how to set CSM to change track specific car shapes and liveries, but I'm having difficulties to make CSM change helmet, steering and tyres positions to match these changes in the cars from race to race.

My question: wich command lines do I have to change in CSM to make it effect these changes? I know it has something to do with the merge folder, but I don't know how to make it understand what I want it to do... :-)

Can someone give me a hand here?

Cheers

i have done it in my 2010 mod but its really hard to explain it all cause its complicated and its more then merge something. You have to make alot of trackspecific ini's.

Thats my subfolder in tweaker:

the way i'd do it is through a combination of the globalvars and the merge.

Best way to understand it is to look at some of Tony's mods, but it's a great little tool and not too difficult to implement. Stephen's way works just as well.

Thanks, Guys! I think I'll experiment a little with the globalvars and merge. I've done it successfully with my 2010 mod wich was based on tony's empty 2009 mod, but I'm building a 2008 mod and so far no luck making the changes...

I'll give it another try and post here the results.

Easiest way is to map a variable to a certain file.
Another option is to use 1 file but then you'll need a lot of variables.
I'd go for option#1

Thanks, Zaz! How do I do that without screwing up my mod? :-)

Before you change a thing you backup it :-)
