I don't know how to add tracks to my 2010 mod so is there anywhere where I can get the tracks in a TSM format so I can just install them using TSM?

In your tracks folder, you must create an ini file. This file will be visible when you set it in the mod config. Open your modname.csm file and add the track profile lines.

example:

[Settings]
SwapINI =swap.ini,anim.ini
PatchINI =
CSMINI =
GlobalVars =GlobalVars_Race.ini
MergeINI =
FixedTrackProfile =F1 2010Tracks.ini
HideStWheelDropDown =1
UseCustomProfile =0
ContainsLockedFiles =
TrackProfile =F1 2010Tracks.ini

Create a notepad file, save as F1 2010Tracks.ini to the Tracks dir.

example:

[Tracks]
Track1=Bahrain\settings.ini
Track2=Australia\settings.ini
Track3=Malaysia\settings.ini
Track4=China\settings.ini
and so on.

settings.ini content from the Bahrain track folder

[Main]
Format =

[Settings]
UID =F9A0C663-51CE-4E9A-A70E-FF367D2A4A42
Name =sakhir
Year =2008
Country =bahrain
Author =gildoorf, 32bobo32, prblanco, ruboy, ttm
Adjective =bahrain
Event =bahrain grand prix
Wad =a1ring2001.wad
Dat =S1CT06.dat
Gpi =15.gpi
Loadingscreen =track6.bmp
Bik =

[StartingLightsPos]
X1 =413.464
Y1 =-110.123
Z1 =6.824
X2 =410.288
Y2 =-110.123
Z2 =6.530

Not at all. Add two lines to the csm file, then create a profile text file that points to the tracks. Then all you have to do is add ini files to the tracks you wish to use, if they are tsm versions, they will already have them. To date, a 2010 track pack has not been released, that is why you have to make your own. When creating a new tracks ini file, delete the uid, as csm will create a new one.

If you don't try, how will you learn anything? For the record, I'm speaking english.
The post is self explanatory, I really could not make it any simpler than what it is, and believe me, it is easy to do. If you can make a post here, you can do it.
Look at the contents of the csm file, and you will see where you add the line for a track profile. As long as the track profile in the tracks directory has the same name, it will load. The track profile contains the names and the order of the tracks, and in your case, it is the 2010 f1 calendar, so it is easy to write it. Then make sure you have all the 2010 tracks in the tracks folder. In each track for 2010, add a settings.ini file, it will load the wad, the dat, and the loading screen if there is one. Post here for me the text of your csm file, I will edit it for you, or just add this line:

FixedTrackProfile =F12010Tracks.ini

Now open notepad, copy this text below and save as Infogrames/GP4/Tracks/F12010Tracks.ini

[Tracks]
Track1=Sakhir\settings.ini
Track2=Melbourne\settings.ini
Track3=Kuala Lumpur\settings.ini
Track4=Shanghai\settings.ini
Track5=Catalunya\settings.ini
Track6=Monte Carlo\settings.ini
Track7=Istanbul\settings.ini
Track8=Montreal\settings.ini
Track9=Valencia\settings.ini
Track10=Silverstone\settings.ini
Track11=Hockenheim\settings.ini
Track12=Budapest\settings.ini
Track13=Spa-Francorchamps\settings.ini
Track14=Monza\settings.ini
Track15=Singapore\settings.ini
Track16=Suzuka\settings
Track 17=Yeongam\settings.ini
Track18=Sao Paolo\settings.ini
Track19=Yas Marina\settings.ini

That file assumes that the tracks are in the tracks dir, for example GP4/Tracks/Sakhir, however the folder might be called Bahrain so you edit the file to suit, it would then be Track1=Bahrain\settings.ini

As long as the folder exists and there is a settings ini within, csm can load the track and the other data, such as a loading screen or a track.gpi if they exist. Different versions would also change the file, you might have Monza2006 or Monza2008, so edit the track profile file to suit, make it point to the track you want it to use. It might then be Track14=Monza2006\settings.ini Track19 might be =Singapore\settings.ini

Got it, so easy! A ten year old could do it. Next you'll say you are 9 lol! ;)

Ok, I got it to work but on the title screen it still has a map of spa instead of singapore. How do I change that?

Its not because i didn't answer on your private message yet that i don't want to help you out. I am very busy with my private life, went on holiday, working my ass of for the next update revolution V3 with the little free time i have left. I send something in confident to you, you should keep it that way.

To use tracks to work with the csm mod you don't have to change a thing in the layout or ini's of the mod at all.

Tracks are TSM. You make a profile and you put all the tracks in that profile which is a list of max 17 tracks then in the configurables of the mod you select that track.ini file and the mod will load the tracks of the profile you made.

You getting the trackmap of spa cause when you create the track singapore in TSM you didn't add or selected a GPI file which contained the trackmap of Singapore. Someone released all trackmaps for 2010 a few weeks ago so search for it and add it and you'll get correct trackmap.

I under stand that you are busy and I am not having a go at you. As for the info that I put up, I didn't relise I was doing anything wrong. I took it down as soon as you said something and I apologise for what I did, it wont happen again.

But the track I was trying to add wasn't a TSM track, that is why I was having difficulty.

Settle down boys.
I explained how to add any track. It does not have to be a TSM track. By adding it to a profile, it will show up in TSM and CSM will load it.

Ok, I'm going to say it for you, I AM A DUMB ASS

I downloaded the Adelaide track. I put it in the track folder and I created a profile using TSM and low and behold it worked.

Thakyou very much for persisting with me mortal, your help was, well, very helpful. I couldn't have done it with out you.

@Bigbrother - I know see what you mean when you said I didn't even need to touch the existing mod, sorry for my ignorance.

Just one more question, when opening the mod with CSM I get this error.
Even though it comes up, I can press continue and it still works.
Any ideas?

I've seen it myself, not sure what causes it, but as you say it does not cause a fatal error so it can be ignored.
