I've done a 2010 mod with various awesome contributions from people on this forum. I've got a little problem with steering wheel positions when using the T-cam view especially with the Williams,Sauber and HRT. It looks like the steering wheel is attached to nothing. It's fine with the Renault and the Ferrari though. I know there is a file called steering wheel positions in gptweaker but was wondering what values to use to get the positions right. Thanks!

I believe TeamEditor can be used to adjust the steering wheel. Alternative solution, GP4 Tweaker has capability to edit/adjust steering wheel position while you driving a car during game session. You can refer to this topic on how to do that. Good luck.

In reality, doesn't matter who's right but most important is who's left.

I tried to alter the positions and succeeded but the next time i loaded up the game the positions of the steering wheel was back to default. The way i did this was by loading CSM, i then selected my 2010 mod and selected 'the mod's configurables' i went down to 'GP4 tweaker: Real time editing' and enabled it and then started the mod. I read that i'm supposed to export the alterations i made but i don't know where to do this? Thanks in advance.

You have to write down the changed coordinates ingame and then you have to adjust the ini files in tweaker :-)

Thats why i asked you that tool madman to convert the bin into ini to save alot of work :-)

After adjusting real time editing in gp4 tweaker, exit the game and open gp4tweaker and click the 'export all' button, you'll be brought to a folders screen (usually my documents) an just save it there. Just create a file name.

Ok thanks for the help, yea i'm using a CSM mod. BigBrother, you said write down the co-ordinates then put them in tweaker. Where do i find the co-ordinates? Should they be displayed when i'm changing them ingame?

TeamEditor is a great way to adjust and see your changes. Open TE and on right screen you see Quickcam, click on V, when click on hold left mouse on the car picture you can move it around to what ever position you like to see the changes your about to make e.g. in the Positions Tab on the car with the problem lets say Virgin, in the St Wheel column click and hold left mouse on Y or Z and moving the mouse left or right, you can make an exact change and see exactly where it is positioned. Remember to SAVE a Team file so you can reload it again. Click Apply all Changes or yes it will go back to default when you start the game.

P.S in Quickcam on V tab moving it around will not change any other view values, the others tab's C,T,1,2,3 and so on will, just a warning:-)

Right, i've had a disaster. I downloaded teameditior and assigned it to the wad i'm using. I didn't really get it because the info in teameditior didn't match up with my mod. Anyway, now it says i need to install a new .exe and i've done that now my mod keeps crashing. Help!!

I've sorted it. It was a problem with the wad. Thankfully i backed it up so all is running as before. I'm still confused about why teameditior did this to my wad though??

Well i've installed more than one .exe when CSM has asked for a fresh install. Is that a problem?
