ItalianEnglish Dynamics Launch
Modena, Italy. The home of motoring in Italy and the home of our engine suppliers, Maserati. A place we feel is perfect to launch our car for the upcoming season. Season 5, another season in the GrandPrixGames SuperLeague for us, keeping ourselves in the small group of teams who have been in it since the start. There is no immediate plans for that to change either.
For Season 5, we have changed many things. Three of our drivers have left the team from the end of last season, and we wish the best of luck to Rick, Keeley and Florian. But this is about now, and for this we have brought in Jethro Walters and Zsigmond Somogyi into race seats. Both impressed massively in the Test Drivers Championship, with Zsigmond also winning it. Test driver wise, Stuart Ingers, a race winner has been brought in with Joel Henrique, interestingly becoming the first driver in this team from outside Europe.
In this tough economic climate, sponsors have not exactly jumped into our arms. Lukoil for example decided to decline an extension on the contract. Our long term sponsors Alitalia remain, along with HMV. Also joining this team is Brit Insurance and new lead sponsors, Forst.
The team also make a return to Dunlop tyres, feeling that they suit the car much better than Bridgestone.
Our aim for the season is to be much more competitive. Last season we were easily the fourth best team, not quick enough to challenge the big three, but good enough to not show signs of struggling. I expect more wins as a team and to go further up the rankings.
But enough talk, lets reveal the RG05.
