General News

Monil Santilal seems to be swaying from left to right on decisions for next year. The season hasn't even properly started and he's been looking at his options for next year. He didn't seem like a happy bunny after results in Spa as he was sulking around in the MPR motorhome with a Martini flavoured Ice Cream and wearing shorts.

More news as it happens on GNN!

i guess we will struggle to get points at spain. imo we need a lot more bhp to survive the s-f straight

Im hoping Spain can be as good as the previous round was. 3rd was my best result ever...when is the next feature race for test drivers?

Can't say, depends on RD's really. Haven't made any definite plans for the next feature race yet. Twelve events remain ok.

GPGSL Round 5 Spanish Grand Prix Barcelona Free Practice

Weather Report
The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain! None on the track! Ninguna lluvia!

Welcome to sunny Spain, here we are track-side at Barcelona for Round 5. Six drivers and three teams have chosen to run boosts here.

The track is GREEN, and pit-lane is now open.


First out onto the track is Nick Worseling SMS.

Darth Tafuro, a recent rumour in the paddock has it that 'Hello Kitty' will sponsor the team in Season 6, a pink livery perhaps?


Ben Johnson starts his run.


First times are in, Van Smirren currently fastest.


De Boer goes quicker!

Copeman takes the top spot for SCR.


Johnson has other ideas, and pushes Copeman out of the top spot.




Rookie driver Silvestre makes good use of the boost and takes first place. That's it for the Free Practice from Barcelona.
