Ah crap, forgot about the boost

Can we make a exception this once

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22
Season 9: Constructors' Champions
Final two races, scary stuff. Hope we go out on a bang rather than a wimper. Still believe catching Blue Flame is possible if we put our little minds to it.

Christel VXR to Launch after Season 5

Speaking ahead of the penultimate round of Season 5 of the GPGSL Christel VXR team boss Chris Copeman poured cold water on the rumours that the team would launch its first car before the end of this season. Copeman commented that "we have no plans to launch at the present time. We will wait until season 5 has finished and we can bring our drivers and staff togehter into one coherent unit. It will definitely happen in the off season." Copeman also revealed that following the signing of Juliano Muller Christel VXR had also taken Petrobras onboard as sponsors and so the livery of the car was being tweaked to accommodate the company. He did however confirm that the car would be called the CVXR001.

GPGSL Turkish Grand Prix - Istanbul

Friday Free Practice

Watch out doggies! The GPGSL circus is in town for a spot of canine road kill.

First out of the pits is Zsigmond Somogyi followed by Ruben Greidanus.

Greidanus desperate to pass.

Somogyi is fastest as he is first over the line.

Greidanus a very close 2nd, but I'm sure he could have gone much quicker.

TNR bos Dan Mills goes much, much faster.

Aston Martin returnee Adam Davies beats them all.

Sheppard comes in 3rd but over half a sceond down on Davies.

Pedersen comes close in 2nd place.

Blue Flame race driver as soon to be team owner, Nathan McGregor gets 5th.

Rookie Vukcevic continues to impress.

Jack Elleker of Team Shadow grabs the lead.

All the rookies are impressing today, here Joseph Gilson takes 5th.

Racer Walters in 3rd.

van Smirren in his VanSmirren takes 1st position.

John Maverick in 5th place.

Team Owner Paddock with a fine lap to take 1st by quite some margin.

MPR's new racer and Season 5 Test Champion Johnson can only take 4th.

Davies retakes 4th on his 2nd lap.

Elleker up to 2nd.

First runs done, lets look at the current standings.

Hunsley jumps from 15th to 2nd.

Elleker improves time, but not position.

Davies follows suit.

Hunsley slightly faster on a 2nd lap.

2nd runs complete.

Pedersen jumps up 10 places.

Nice lap by Muller to take 5th.

Session over.

Road kill is very tasty, just ask any redneck! ;-)
Nice result for SCR, looks like the mechanics stayed off the Turkish water-pipes last night. :-)

10th is okay, but could be better. However, Rico's 6th place is great and shows the real potential of the car here in Istanbul. I'm confident that I'll be able to improve in qualifying and set a good basis for the race then.

Damn traffic and Pedersen 3rd, very bad practise.

Not the best result, but I'm still adapting to the car. Hoping to do better in Silverstone.
