Yep, I haven't give it up yet and even if it takes more time, GP4 Builder is still updated little by little.

This new revision 1.394 brings a lot of changes, enhancements and fixes (who said and bugs ? ok, and maybe bugs too).
Amongst them, track profiler revision with randomness and undo feature, direct mouse bank edge displacement, straight fences even in curbs, better .dat to .gp4 conversion with reflected walls and fixed mappings for banks and verges, and so on...

So the best thing to do is to show you the change log as usual :

v1.394 (16th May 2010)
New : Copy/paste vertex, Normal or Mapping 3 coordinates in one click
New : Rotations are now based on objects center (instead of Base)
New : track from .dat conversion could also create Reflected walls
New : Lap preview adaptative speed
Enhanced : Alphabeticaly sorted texture lists
Enhanced : CCline radii values can now be mouse-dragged for realtime changes
Enhanced : Displayed sector numbers now follow pitch changes
Enhanced : Default flag value for track from .dat objects has been changed to 64
Enhanced : .dat pitlane walls are no more drawn in garages
Enhanced : .dat garages pitlane walls are no more converted to .gp4 objects
Fix : Advanced Mapping window could be displayed out of the screen
Fix : Object coordinates weren't updated after alignment on another object
Fix : Corrupted geometry when rotating objects on X or Y axis
Fix : Banks uniform mapping was not applied for .dat to .gp4 track conversion
Fix : Verges uniform mapping was not applied for .dat to .gp4 pitlane conversion
Fix : pitlane left fence height could be badly converted from .dat to .gp4
Fix : CARLIGHTMAPCH texture was incorrectly present in useless texture list
Fix : object could be slightly displaced once when changing any object settings
Fix : Incorrect Prev and Next button status at face level
Fix : Using Prev and Next button at face level wasn't updating 3D red face edges
Fix : Error when detaching last face of a part to a new part
Fix : Progress window was not closed automatically when textures were reloaded
Fix : Only latest stripe was visible when creating multiple fences
Fix : Track texture was not displayed when opening track from .dat window

v1.370 (2nd April 2010 internal wip version)
New : Track Profiler randomness settings
New : Track Profiler undo feature
New : Create straight fences for any range of sectors
New : Bank edges mouse displacement
Enhanced : Track profile line no more reaches top or bottom of the display area
Enhanced : Newly created jip mapping command now receives default ID 840 (straight line)
Enhanced : Better jip mapping line continuity in short curves
Enhanced : Faster .dat sector list display
Enhanced : Freely resizeable Track Profiler window
Enhanced : Realtime Track Profiler update on commands or sectors changes
Enhanced : first sector value of Multiple sectors editing windows is now updated if another sector is selected
Enhanced : Sectors can now be selected by clicking around its verge/bank edge point
Fixed : rotate/zoom mode wasn't focused on mouse selected objet
Fixed : verge flags were corrupted at pitlane sector rotation
Fixed : Weird flickering behavior with Track profiler extreme values
Fixed : Incorrect Sector 0 track banking display
Fixed : Multiple sector editing window was not closed when opening a new file
Fixed : Eqalization feature was incorrect for sectors 0 and 1
Fixed : Banks rotation was not undo correctly (since 3D Editor 18 !)
Fixed : Difficulties to input floating point values for material power values

Yep, there was an internal wip version but it existed merely as a step than as a definitive version.

I hope you will enjoy the changes and that modders will continue to create always better tracks.

PS: I was just in time, I've even still 7 minutes before the end line :)

Thanks everyone, it's always a pleasure to finaly share some new stuff here :)

Gildoorf (already) found a problem with 1.394 : it crashes if two textures have the same name (that's the short explanation).
A fixed version is almost ready and I will release it this week-end if everything's ok.
As usual, the track itself is safe so don't worry about any data loss.
