I have upgraded my HW to GF4 MX 440 and SB live.

Now the game do not start !!

After few seconds of intro movie it goes back to desktop.

I have everything updated from MB BIOS ( perfectly setted ) to Nvidia latest ME drivers.

Do you have any clues or ideas?

With my previous GF 2 MX 400 everything worked fine.

Thanks

Boomer

Have you edited the cards.txt? Have a look at it and see if it shows the new card.

I'm thinking about the right voltage that now is 1.5V but maybe increasing it to 1.6 or 1.7 ????

cards.txt? Sorry my ignorance but is it a windows file? Because I have Installed GP4 after the HW upgrade.

I'm thinking to reinstall the OS from scrath....

Which is your AGP voltage? Assuming a similiar graphic card

Thanks

cards.txt is a GP4 file. Open it and change the old detaisl to the GF4 details.

Reinstalling the OS is the final option

You could use GPxPatch to skip the intro, and see what happens. If you are using a pacthed verison, and GPxPatch does not work, then renaming or deleting the intro.bik file will skip the intro movie

Isn't changing the AGP voltage just a little on the overkill side?
