just patched my gp4. The crackling sound with my sb live has gone yay!!, however, gp4 recalibrated my sound, and now wont let me have 3d or 2d sound on, which i could b4 without any performance loss, any ideas?

Make sure your hardware acceleration is set to full in control panel>sound

Maybe click recalibrate in the sound menu? And turn everything up 100% in advanced?

If you are running XP, you should get the newest drivers for SB Live! The drivers were released about 1-2 months ago. It fixes some nasty performance issues.





It's only after we've lost everything, that we are free to do anything.

i just went back into the game and it wss back to normal, however crackling back, must be a sound 3d thing.
