Mercedes W01 by ppit

ppit released a new version of the 2010 Mercedes at racesimulations, looks very good. Thought I'd post so everyone has a chance to get this sweet car.

I love the cars by ppit and it's great that he always releases templates, too!

I think he deserves to be much more famous in the GP4 community

good shape, great and smooth textures.
After the R30 a second amazing job

tyretextures are edited by me based on Lee's and tyreshapes are 2Dadvanced rims redone by me from Gigi's 3drims also on my screens textures are modified by me, the originals were fantastic but a bit too bright so they are darker now

Otherwise than with his Mercedes V1.1-template it is not possible to paint those parts in the recent one.



It would be great if he could fix his V1.2 template...

i didn't tried to paint it,but those parts are mapped for mgp_3(as the top side of the nose)

I was able to paint them for my Brabham livery so you must have an old version.

you're using the old version,he's using the china specs one

I know that those parts are mapped for MGP_3. That's why I know that it worked for V 1.1 but not for 1.2

here you are a screen of the mapping



as you can see,those parts are mapped near the cockpit.just need to change the background colour in that part of the template to make it matching with the rest of the cockpit

Those parts were at the same place in the V1.1 template and I even had the same idea to change the background colour in that part of the template but now I know that it will work. Thank you
