im havin problems running gp4 on my windows 764bit computer i keep getting the black screen prolbem. these are my specs.

it is a fresh install with update decrypted exe and gpxpatch. i have tried running it in xp sp3 compatabilty and sp2 with no avail. i have tried it in xp sp3 compatability with gpx patch to start in debug mode, verbosity:high and cpu 1 with no avail either. its a fresh install off the cd and i have had a look around to find out what to but its still not working. i even tried it in a xp virtual pc but it runs terribly slow. so any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Which version of DirectX?
Edit:
Check for redundant printer drivers, remove if any. Check that you have the official 9.6 patch correctly installed. Run sound in 2d.

thanks for that link mortal. weird i unplugged the g25 to play gt5 and walla gp4 worked i dunno what that means. and old logitech driver? or is there some sort of conflict with the g25,win7 and drivers?
