Great to see a 1998 mod in progress. Is it a conversion?

By the way, why don't you start a single thread with every mod in it?

This mod has been available for years too

And CTDP never gave permission for it

now, this is my conversion.
As I have done for the 1992 mod, 1996 mod and 1997 mod
I made the cars, helmets and teamart.
I believe that I did not need permission

You still need permission because you've converted some other human being's cars and put them in GP4. It doesn't matter what game they're from, you still need permission to release.

David34, which Msater to say that this mod the 1992, 1996 and 1997 were developed by someone or some people for F1C.
You should contact them so they can authorize you to convert to GP4.
Not for complications, only for things to follow a correct path, I hate to see someone pick up my thing and enjoy it, after much work, without my permission, or at least a "Hey I'm doing this .... "

Si consiglia di contattarli in modo che possano autorizzare di convertire a GP4.
Non per complicazioni, solo per le cose di seguire un percorso corretto, odierei vedere qualcuno prendere le mie cose e goderne, dopo molto lavoro, senza il mio permesso, o almeno un "Hey sto facendo questo .... "

Você deve entrar em contato com eles para que possam autorizar você a converter para o GP4.
Não é para complicação, somente para que as coisas sigam um caminho correto, eu odiaria ver alguém pegar uma coisa minha e usufruir dela, depois de muito trabalho, sem a minha permissão, ou pelo menos um "Ei vou fazer isto...."

yeah, and it was released anyway. That did not help. Besides, this mod is currently being converted for rFactor so I doubt you will get permission.
But as everyone says, better to ask and not release than not ask and release!

there have been people in this forum who have converted not just mods from f1c, but the actual game itself without permission! and then people in this forum let them get away with it because they are friends, but when a new person does it, lets all gang up on him and kick him in the guts and never let him into the çommunity'.
ahh, the hypocrisy.

okay mate, just to get one thing clear!

Me and my friend converted the 2002 cars from F1C, and when I asked EA, they answered me that they practiclly did not care about their old games.

This is different, as it's a mod that's been leeched before, and we are just pointing out that nobody has permission to release these 1998 cars for GP4.

Simple as that!

Hypocrisy? Not really!
