v9.6 patch problem!! very disapointed

done that....doesn't work....

my computer still reognises it as updated allready...i have so many thing to delete everythin, reinstall it but still its @!#$!!

face it....geoff has made the worst mistake in his whole gpx life

Solution? Get an XBOX with GP4 - forget about the low res...because you will forget anyway, once you spend ALL of your time racing and not crashing (PC that is) All for about the same price as a GFX card.

Well, I installled GP4, then patched it and it runs fine on my system. Didn't test long but it works.



Beta tester for;
Descent 3, C & C Generals, Independance War 2, Starfleet Command 2,
Settlers IV, Tzar, Allegiance, Starfleet Command,
MAX 2, Defiance

XBox GP4 has been canned :D

ok, i now played the game for about an hr worth..

my guillemot FF Racing Wheel is a bit weird now..
i can't have the brake and accel on seperate axis nemore..

so i had to go to game controler options and untik the operate pedals seperately box.. and now i can get it to work in gp4.. but ya can't be braking and accelling at any poitn at the same time nemore.. its either only brake.. or only accel

and y r there absolutely NO reflections on the car at all?.. this is when advanced lighting is off tho.

after makin changes for performance in the f1config file.. i can run at about 8 fps faster than b4..

no crashes tho

Hey, come on, we are here to talk about the game and not to talk about NOT talking about the game. If you don't want it, don't buy it. You don't have to tell us about it, though. Imagine, there are six billion people on earth. I bet more than 5,999,500,000 of them are not going to buy it. Imagine they would all come in here to tell us about NOT buying the game.

Since installing the patch, I can't load a saved game. It won't even load saves from the new 'patched' version. No point in using the thing if I cant save it. (
