gp3 to gp4 conversion of tracks

is it possible?
if yes,what tools do I need?

gp4 uses a much more better graphic engine then gp3
but i dont know for sure if its possible

Something I though about a long time ago but it's too late now for this to be included in actual program. Furthermore it's now very easy to create manualy any .dat for GP4 (you can take a picture of your GP3 .dat in Paul Hoad's Track Editor and use this as a background layout in GP4Builder to redraw a new GP4 .dat). And for objects, GP4 offers far more 3D possibilities than GP3 so they can be recreated with any 3D tool and imported in GP4builder.

I have some success importing height values from gp3 to gp4, but it´s not as easy as I thought and a bit worthless in the end.

Best way to create gp4 tracks is putting your brains and free imagination over GP4 Builder. Easy tool, easy handling, and very detailed tutorial.

You should have a try with no regrets.
