GP4 question

Hi guys,

Some of you might know my GP4 disc broke a while back. Now, I suddenly had the urge to play GP4 again, yesterday. But my disc is still broken.

I've found a torrent on the interwebs, so I downloaded and put in my Program Files. Would some of you say this isn't allowed? I paid £25 for my original GP4 disc two years ago, so I have paid for it.

Also, GP4 now crashes. I'm still playing the original game, unmodded. I'm in a race, and suddenly it crashes. Any of you know why? I've installed no disc CD and the official patch.

i had the same problem though mine was due to my disk being worn out due to overplaying lol,anyway i dl the gp4 torrent and had the same problems so i updated it with the patches then used a no-cd patch,havent had any problems since.not sure if im gonna get my ass kicked for giving you this info but felt i had to reply,plus i play gp4 with windows 7 and dont have any issues

i've the same problem with my copy of NFSU2(my cousin destroyed the original one)

I'll be honest, my GP4 installation was also a torrent (DJEclipse) also and it's been working perfectly ever since.....

just to say it, I got my original GP4 copy back in march 2002, when it was just released in Sweden! And my disc still work!

Yeah i have my original disk also still working but i made a backup copy of it in an iso file so i use that to install it the last years to save my disk
