Rain and Wet-Weather Question

Hi everyone,

When it rains on track, the track seems to stay dry, then when the rain stops, after about 10 more laps, the track then seems to get wet. Does this happen to anyone else, is it a known problem, or has something messed up just on my installation?

Many thanks,
Daniel

That shouldn't be happening. Never heard of that before.

There are some bugs. I had that problem too. And sometimes it rains and the sky is blue with only a few clouds. Its not realistic. GP3 had this bug too. Seems we need a better weather engine for GP4. Is there something out?

I think the weather engine in GP4 is still very good, although it is not perfect.

It is much better than the weather engines, or lack thereof, in many other games

Yeah I seen it. My biggest problem with the rain is the dry-line. CC cars are like slot cars, they won't deviate from the line, it like dry pavement for them. For me, not so much. I only race in the dry for the most part.

Well you have to learn driving in the wet, practise is the key, Rome wasn't build in one day either :-)

Yup it's a little extreme for the most part, put one half of the wheel out of the dry line and you spin, c'mon that's just unrealistic. However this game has the best weather system of any game I have played.
