Hello everyone.

I've been playing GP4 since it came out but only discovered the forum recently and have updated to the 2009 season (the best i could). Anyway, the work you're all doing is great so thanks but I was just wondering if any of you good people could help me with a little problem. When i follow cars closely, especially fast corners like turn 8 at Turkey it is really difficult to maintain speed as there's massive understeer. I know this is fairly realistic but it makes tracks like Shanghai impossible to pass! I was wondering if there's any way to stop this or at least turn it down! I've looked through the forum to find an answer but although i know there is one out there, i can't find it! Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using a csm mod or you just update the game yourself ?

Yeah I have found that with China, the first corner is impossible to keep with AI cars.

CSM mod. I used the empty 2009 mod and put in cars etc myself

then probabely the slipstream effect is enabled in gp4tweaker if you disable it or adjust the effect maybe it goes better !!

you go into the folder tweaker and open the gp4tweak.ini file:

SlipStream = 1 ; set to 1 to enable slipstream effect
SlipPlayer = 1 ; set to 1 to enable slipstream affect to player car only

there you enable or disable it !!!

to adjust the value of slipstream you go into the folder gp4tweak_data and there you find the slipstream.ini file were you can adjust for each track and driver the slipstream value !!!
