Another test I am playing around is Engine in fire.
Nice but in that case i will need to hide the original small fire i think.

So are you making the failures (not just engine) a lot better or just engine fires?

No, sorry but i can't change the GP4 failure's system, the only thing i changed is texture used when engine is broken.

Under the trees just before where panis crashed

just after turns 3 and 4. His engine had a huge blow up there

ok, in canada you have turns 1 and two, which is really a chicane yes? You then run up behind the trees (trees on the right), and turn right then left into a small wooded area with trees on toh side. Sato blew up there.

the next two corners (easy flat chicane) is where Panis crashed in 97 breaking both his legs

in most of the engine blow ups.....its not really orange but white...lots of it

is there some way someone could change the texture and the amount of it?

imagining Panis's blow up @ Spa and Kimi coming right threw it

currently in gp4 the blowups are not that spectacular and ur visibilty isn't cut down that much at all

would be cool if there was some way to trigger the amount of the blowup

i would think a blow up in 7th gear would be bigger and cover the track in oil vs a 2nd gear blow up

just random thoughts

Nope, it was just a test but if you want it, i can put it on my site.

>Reny : I don't really understand, do you have a photo showing the white effect ?
I suppose you wanted to say that broken engines often spread a huge white smoke. I agree with that but some times, smoke become in fire too and that's the case i work on. The white smoke anyhow would appear for some other failures in GP4.
