***GP4 patch worth installing?***

yo,

I wasn't online when the version 4 patch came about. I just downloaded but heard something about it not being proper or something. My question is is it worth installing as my gp4 works fine about from the odd crackling of sound (probably due to my sb live) . Has anyone installed it and found it to make the game worse?

LOL,now that is truly evil or hysterical.I'm not really sure.

tried patch v4 but it doesnt work with the game. i have been told to use it from the FAQ and it could solve probs with graphics and the game cutting out. it doesnt, is that why its been withdrawn?
