Nobody suggested it was easy i can imagine it is very difficult and a lot of problems arise, but it´s like playin the guitar. If you don´t practice and never try to or just do nothing you´ll never be able to play well.

So, when can we expect your first track?

Please stop this nonsense, and let's get back on topic. (Y)

The good news is that when the 1988 trackpack is released we can at least use around half of those tracks as the basis for Pedro's mods.

So in actual fact, although it will involve a great deal of effort and time, a complete trackpack for 1985 (for example) would not be necessary. The required tracks would be the likes of Osterreichring, Zandvoort, Ricard (long), Brands and Kyalami.

You ain't half impatient, just be grateful that Pedro (Ripping Corpse) has gone to all the trouble to create some great mods. He also has a life outside GP4.

Pedro, absolutely fabulous!!

Fantastic!!

Like I said sometime in the past, I've reinstalled GP4 after several years, only, and I mean only because of these Pedro's seasons!

Thank you so much!

he was referring to CarlosTEX

i don't see the point to ask for having a full trackpack atm.If plodekk and cleber can't do one atm, then just wait.then who knows, after having released all his mods, pedro may reinvent himself as track modder;)
back on topic guys;-)

nice cars pedro:-)

iirc, cleberpister and plodekk have not produced any new tracks by themselves, only textures and 3d work onto existing tracks - where as Turbo Lover has delivered some outstanding tracks from scratch from old eras, so a little respect is in order, as we'll probably need some of his work to complete the track pack you want so much. Like he said, until you start making and releasing your own tracks, don't go expecting so much from others.

Pedro, outstanding work as always :)

I'm not asking for a full trackpack - see my earlier post:

Infact, I'm not asking for anything....just merley trying to suggest that in terms of priority we are crying out for more old tracks that these mods can be played on. I really can't understand why some people in here are getting there arses out over what is no more than an enthusiastic request!

Listen, I don't want to get involved in track-making politics - all I want to do is point out that some old tracks are needed in order for these mods to be fully realised, and now I've got people in here insinuating that I need to show some more respect? Please....

>as we'll probably need some of his work to complete

What do you mean 'track pack that I want so much'. I'd love some more tracks, but I'm not expecting a trackpack, nor does my life depend on it....

And expecting so much from others? So let me get this right: I join this forum, show some enthusiasm and much appreciation for all the fabulous work being done, put forward some suggestions for projects but get rapped for showing no respect and having unrealistic expectations?

I'm sorry but as Webmaster for [www.eliodeangelis.info], if I responded to my fan requests with the sort of negative rhetoric that I've seen on here every time someone asks me to upload a new interview or incorporate changes into my website, then I suspect I'd have no visitors.

I know, I have them both.

Think the problem is senna9194 that unlike myself, you probably don't agree that bringing Pedro's work to the attention of the track making community should be seen as something that is of benefit to everyone.

I suspect that I will have to resign myself to driving a 1984 Ferrari around Malaysia for the next 10 years. Ho-hum.

The problem is that track making takes many many man hours, especially to make them accurate, and there just aren't that many track makers about with the free time. It's better drumming up interest in noobs to start creating tracks than bugging the already over loaded bunch of modders.

I agree a track pack would be nice, but for me, having people request me to make stuff is something I rarely take up, in fact its more of a demotivation.

I know it does. I have been involved in previous GP3 mods and I appreciate that tracks are hideous to make.

As (I think) freedom of speech is allowed in here, I will say that I feel the priorities are wrong. Doing tracks, or trackpacks for 1989, 1990, 1993, 1994 is all very well and good but what about pre 1984? There is nothing, yet the amount of mods from this era are growing.

The difference between 1989-1993 in terms of tracks and track layout is minimal at best, therefore surely one single trackpack (i.e 1990) would suffice? However, the differences in tracks and track layout between the 1983-1990 is enormous. All I've tried to do is point this out.

In addition, we now have a hugely talented modder in Pedro who has given time and effort in resurrecting a superb era of motor racing, and I don't want to see him simply drift off the scene, or revert to working on the already overcrowded 'modern day' GP4 mod scene. Even the worlds most talented artists needs a proper canvas.

In which case, I shall zip it... case I demotivate you any further.

i care of every good mod who deserves some accurate tracks.that's worth for 1986-1988-1991-1994 and the upcoming 1993 mod,not only Pedro's mods.

actually, the "track modding community" cares principally of making new tracks instead of old ones(for various causes).I consider myself an "amateur" into track modding,as I created my first .dats(Binetto,Hockenheim short) and made my first 3d objects(Canuga Speedway is W.I.P by me),but at the start I was a n00b,also.It's all part of learning. And I do it in my free time, while I try to learn shaping and texturing also.I don't get any money for that. It's just my interest.

so,if you really want to get old tracks,i suggest you to start using GP4Builder.New modders are always a good help for the community;-)
