Mercedes GP Petronas - RELEASED - by madotter

Hey people,

I am not going to pretend to be in the same league as some painters here so this is just me messing around (I say messing around, taken me 2 hours and alot of stress!!). I have all permissions to release so tell me what you think

Version 2.1 - Made Petronas logo smaller and moved Petronas logo over on sidepod + Number 4 fixed.

Lol, I know it's Mika and Michelin - I currently have my 2001 mod installed... Hold on, McLaren in 2001 didn't use Michelin! Oh well

but i think the petronas logo on the cockpit is a bit to large?!

Nice!

The one suggestion I would have is to move the Petronas logo on the sidepod towards the back of the car. Otherwise, the logo gets quite distorted on the undercut sidepod.

I checked so many pictures and it's the same width as the white circle that has the number in.

i think they are not simply black part, but carbon fiber

Just some details:
- It would be great with a blur effect on the black parts.
- The mercedes logo should be lower on the nose_cone
- There are 2 Syntium logos on the front wing.

... Maybe on the next version?

Did you see the photos in Excalibur's topic? They are very hi-res and also show possible lines within the silver of the Mercedes car, especially look at the first photo and then the engine cover/sidepod and rear fin
Also a carbon fibre like texture has been made on some parts in the silver, f.e. the front fin and the winglet at the front of the sidepod
