Grand Prix 4 has won an award in the BAFTA's Interactive Entertainment Awards, winning the category of PC Games - Sports. They are the most high-profile awards in the UK for the multi-media industry, rewarding achievement in technology and creativity

Microsoft's Halo has scooped two Bafta awards, at the Interactive Entertainment Awards ceremony which was held in London last night



The game managed to pick up the awards for best Console Game and best Multiplayer game, for it's "stunning cooperative mode by taking the console multiplayer experience to a new level".

Neverwinter Nights from Infogrames was awarded as the best PC Game, and the company also won the best Sports Game, with Grand Prix 4, which the judges felt GP4 had "enormous depth and a vast array of racing and game variables, reflecting accurately the nature of both the real sport and its most ardent fans".

Can you imagine how good GP4 looked when, after the awards, all the nerds who didnt get invited to parties sat around and played it on the big screen.
