It was working!!

Don't know what has happened but when I just tried to play Gp4,the game won't load.All I get is a black screen.It was working a couple of hrs ago.My Specs=P4-1.7,512mbRAM,GeForce2MX400,SB Live,WinXP Home.I use GpxPatch3.10,Vipers 2001 carset and Richard L track updates.Tried to load through GpxPatch and Gp4 exe.Can someone help please.Thanks

As usual, cut and paste your f1graphics.bat in another folder and run GP4, if it runs, you will need to re-define all your options.
Else, keep your f1graphics.bat and ecrase your gp4.exe (you can make a backup before) with a save of the decrypted exe and try again.
This matter comes at 90% with one of these two files which has been "corrupted" noone knows why.

Sorry, i mean f1graphics.cfg of course.

Thanks,got it working again............darn crazy game!!!!Corrupted files,shitty frame rates,high PO and its the only game I have that runs so crappy.Playing NHL2003 with all details on at 1280x1024 and absolutely no problems at all........go figure.Anyway thanks again.

I was playing NHL2003 at that res with all the details up and not a problem.........Gp4 on the other hand runs crappy.I'm playing it at 800x600 with most details turned up and get 28fps and my PO is down around 100%.Me thinks it's time for a new vid card.....Gforce4 Ti4600 should do the trick.
