I agree

Not really happy with the overall result, but then again, this is very hard to do in this angle. As I'm waiting for trymedia to give my license renewals again I have to use other peoples shots. This comes from the rFactor screens thread in the Other Games Forum. It's from: iaquinta. I hope you don't mind!

That's certainly one way of looking at it providing you are just trying to make a good screenshot of the game.
In the begining I wanted to make edited screens of gp4 to prove that the edited screens were just as good as r/factor. I find that r/factor screens are less challenging because the graphics are so much better therefore you have very little to do in terms of editing.

In the past I have incorporated real life stills into the gp4 screens for further realism only. Now any one can put a GP4 car on to a real life back ground that in it self may not require too much skill. However the skill required to make that Gp4 car look like it is part of that back ground, in other words a real life car takes more skill than you think. I.M. humble O.;-)

100% agree.

All Are Unedited.
Yea, to do it the other way 'round like taking elements of a game into reallife stills, takes more skills to do. But then again, when doing that I think you're not posting screenshots but artworks that are related to GP4. Not that I don't like it, but I find it not being relevant to this thread. IMHO

I do agree with you Floris ........ simply because the title of the thread says screenshots.
Maybe there should be a seperate thread for the more artistic editing of the sim .... I dont know, as I said before this kind of thing will only appeal to some people and as the whole point of posting screenshots should be about how the sim could look, it seems fair that any other such art work be posted on a seperate thread but it might not be that big a deal I don't know.
My main intention has always been to give pleasure through these screens and yes I am an artist by nature but I do understand that the more embelished screens probably should be restricted to another thread.;-)

I agree with Lez, it's not a big deal to separate a new thread for the pictures with photorealistic parts. If we reached the 100th page in this thread, maybe we should open 2 new topics: a "Screenshots V14" for normal screens, and an "Artworks V1" for the other ones.
Thanx Daimon that may be the solution.;-)

That sounds like a plan! Anyway, I like both ways :) That Toyota is now in my wallpaper collection! :)
