Hi, sure, the higher the number, the better the performance.

I've just updated my values for Brazil on my blog at:

[jdf1stats.blogspot.com]

Use GP4 Master, it's easy.

Enjoy!

Incorrect. The 100 number he posted is the discrepency of the
performance of the driver. The higher that number the more
inconsistant the CC-car will be ;-)

kimiraik@ Exactly, the 980 is the reliability.
The higher the number the worst chances for the
car to fail to finish the race.

Name=MCLAREN,MERCEDES
==>team name, engine name

Performance=863,863,980
==> horse power race, horse power quali, team reliability (more is worse!)

First Driver=1,Lewis Hamilton,16370,100,16240,100
==> car number, driver name, performance race (more is better!), driver discrepancy over race (more is worse), ditto for quali

Second Driver=2,Heikki Kovalainen,16369,100,16239,100
==>ditto for second driver

i hope i've helped

I did a few tests to really find out what that "inconsistency" was about.

Take this example:
Lewis Hamilton,16370,100,16240,100

So, the basic performance is 16240 for quali, but the 100 is a variable to be ADDED to that number, so the bigger the better, just that you can't be sure about the real performance (sometimes will be 16260, others 16300...), but it will be within the range of 16240 to 16340.

So, some comparisons:

- (16000, 100) is better than (16000,0) but
- (16000, 100) is worse than (16100,0)

If someone is more interested in these results I have a couple of xsl sheets with test data with performances and power... It is interesting to give the right dimension to your performance files.

make an average (/4) performance and variations in GP2, GP3, GP3-2000 and GP4 through the tool GP3Edit... input best performance for 2 brawns, 2 rbr, one toyota and one mclaren & etc... so simple you can get a generic performance for all tracks :p
