disablying joystick

Is there a way to disable a joystick or a wheel so it doesnt work in the menues...

wheel works fine when im playing and racing but the its all @#$%& up in the menues and its starting to piss me off.

hmmm maybe i should have posted this in markus's post about "strange mouse behaviour" coz im having the same problem but i thought it was because of the wheel not the mouse/

There is a setting to disable/enable controller for menus. Can not remember where, and I'm @ work so I can not check. But it is there...
