car skin problem - related to 1997 mod

hey guys
i need some help
im currently trying to compile a 1997 mod
everything is working fine except for a few things

1. ive added the teamart for 97 but in the driver selection screen, when you select some of the drivers, instead for their faces coming up it stays blank with a profile of their face - how do you fix this??

2.ive added the cars and they look fine BUT only when you are racing them or racing alongside them. If they are infront of behind you they look like the original 2001 cars and liveries - how is this fixed also??
Eg if you are racing hill in the 97 arrows, it looks how it is meant to but if you go to the car behind it looks like the 2001 Orange Arrows

any advice is greatly appreciated

ok...i have managed to fix the cars problem

however i am still having problems with the first issue in my first post (Drivers Teamart)

does anybody have a solution to this

1 - Invert the alpha layers in photoshop.

2 - Make the others 3 lod's for each car or put to show only lod 0 in f1graphics.

i dont have photoshop...will gimp work???
and i take it that invert is an option with these programs (flip?)
