GP4 sucks.


Just wanted to say that.

why does it suck?

gp3 has crashed a few seldom times for me.. gp4 never!!

Prob same way as me - it hasnt crashed - unless i have done something (sometimes accidently pressing the worlds most pointless key does it - the windwos key thing)

mine doesnt crash either.

gp4 was perfect when i 1st got the game but a couple of bugs have matured.

1. the cockpit F**ks up at the start of qual. and in the garage its like as if it is paused and u have to wait about 1 min to get out on track.

2. it only happened once but i was coming out of the pits in monza and my cars just flew up in the air and landed back down with 2 wheels. it was like a massive ramp or something.

i have the video of it if u want it.



other than that gp4 ROCKS!

Ok i have second example in GP4 :P:P but i am soon there little more work and install so no more crash LOL. but now is my GP4 is gong so tough i dont know wats wrong must drive in 800X640 anybody now wat wrong ? have gerforce 2mx 200 card. and nvidia 40,anything :P
i use to drive in 1024X700 before

I havent had any crashes apart from after I have mucked around with it

mines pretty rock solid too, the only time i had it crash back to desktop was when i tried different detonator drivers, once i switched back to the previous ones everything was fine,

infact i'd probably go to far as say that since i've had GP4 its only crashed to desktop once

OK, here's the thing. I've had a Matrox card since 98, but now my new pc has a GF4 MX440. What detonator drivers should I start with? I know nothing about nvidia drivers, so which are good?

My GP4 has only crashed when the folloing has happened

1) Something i installed into it crashed it
2) Norton AntiCirus update came up, minimizing GP4 and crashing it
3) I accidently press the crappy windows key

Thats it, it has never randomly crashed for me
