Slimtex error. Sample tga uploaded, check for errors please.

This is getting odd. I have the latest update as well, do you have Vista?

There are no problems with your Tga files.
They can be converted to TEX files without any problem.
They are here : [rapidshare.com]

so Check your SlimTex installation.
If you can't open working TEX files, the problem is surely with YOUR and only your slimtex installation. (Because so far for all users this tools is working very well)

Can we help you more than to do for you the TEX files ?

Hmm, I have no idea what to do, and I don't want to pester you guys every time I need .tex files

Go to Zaz tools folder and try to right click on the Slimtex.exe
and set the compatibility to windows xp. See if that helps and get
back to us so we help you.

Ok, but try this:

1- Open Slimtex
2- Select "TEX menu"
3- Drag and drop .tga file inside the slimtex
4- Select the file. When you do this its highlighted with a blue color.
5- Goto "Image icon" and select Dxt5
6- Press convert
7- Check in the folder of the tga for the .tex files that you converted, that
way you will know if it worked or not.

What pc specs do you have? Try to put as much details as you can.

4gb Ram
1.6 Dual core processor
Nvdia graphics card? Not sure on model.

Don't get why this would affect this program though?
