Why I have freeze after quit gp4?

Sometimes when I'm racing at gp4. Then i quit game by push ESC button, the game freeze, and i must restart my pc. Only sometimes i see this problem. Do you have gp4 freeze? How i can resolve this problem? Thanks for your help!

Maybe you have a cpu with hyperthreading? You can use gpxpatch to start gp4 and in the main page of gpxpatch you see CPU:1? Make that CPU: 0 maybe that can help?

My cpu is P4 630 3GHZ HT. I set CPU: All in main page of gpxpatch. Do i must set cpu:0 or 1?

it depends if you have multi core on your system

0 means the game run on core 1
1 means the game run on core 2

All means the game run on all cores available. Its stable during the game but when you exit it can cause a crash to desktop, normally not freeze your pc that you have to restart.

Another way of doing it is to set the affinity of the exe. Google it.

Set it to 0 and check if it fixes your problem.

to set it to 1 in GPxPatch helped my game to stop crashing often. Since I've changed that, my game has not crashed again.
