GP4 Won't Shut Down

Any ideas as I am at my witts end.

GP4 runs perfectly on my PC. I have a game running a 1268X1024 (or whatever res) at 30 fps with full detail except for heat haze and video wall.

My PC is an AMD Athlon XP 1700+ with 512MB DDRAM, Gainward 750 Golden Sample Ti 4600 128MB GeForce4 GPU, Sound Blaster Audigy and WinXP.

No way I am reinstalling my OS as I am getting 10300 3DMarks at the moment and every other game I have runs perfectly.

But since I replaced my Sound Blaster PCI 64 with the Sound Blaster Audigy Player, GP4 will not shut down. It just hangs my machine with a black screen.

Any ideas?

Stuck in pits bug
Everycar stalls on grid bug
Invisible car heat haze bug
Freeze in menu bug
Crap FPS bug
Shite Win XP compatibility bug

I'm afraid this menu is actually 108 pages long, and we've run out of most because everyone gets the bugs, they're very popular you know.

i had this with GP3, u need to reinstall windows :' or,

save the game state using the workshop, then alt ctl del

How the hell did you found all that bugs?
I cannot even play it!! The crap returns to desktop after two/three secs after loading it.
The problem is that's the only game/program causing me headaches. My PC is fast and reliable so I won't change my OS (XPPro) only for this piece of shitting software.
