Your Bios is locked and it appears you cannot unlock it somehow :/

Chances are it might be best to start saving and build yourself a new PC (Other than the Graphics Card obviously).

I'm gonna be controversial and say the opposite. I've just had a bash with windows 7 x64, and it's awful. slow, ugly, and Ati won't make drivers for my graphics card for it either! (can you use Vista x64 ones on W7?) . My GP4 crashes loads on W7 as well... I'm sticking with Vista

Been running different iterations of Win 7 since its first beta to the RC (release candidate) for months now and I am not looking back to vista or XP. Runs GP4 and every thing else like a dream. Trying to dual install Kubuntu but I got dual boot issues.

That's because you're running x64, Win 7 x64 is rubbish atm. And yes, you can use Win Vista x64 drivers in Win 7 x64.

Win x32 is good.

Dual installing Kubuntu is done easily. Just go to the installation page of kubuntu and then create a partition and let it resize the partition and then install. It works :)

I advise you to buy a better vga card rather than a cpu.

Why??

His graphics card isn't the main problem, sure it's not the best card ever but it should handle GP4 well enough.

The problem is his CPU only run's at 1.8GHZ...

The vga card will be a bigger improvement than the cpu in this case :)

I beg to differ ;)

There is too much load on his CPU causing his FPS to drop and judder, his GPU won't even be near full load in that state.

his problem is the cpu and not the graphic card, its more then enough to play gp4 at max. A computer runs always as fast as the lowest component in there. So if you would look at the index of the hardware the cpu or harddisk would be the lowest so you have to upgrade that, your graphic card is more then enough.

I know their has to be a balance between cpu and vga card to get the max out of it.
But his vga card is not good enough, and getting a cpu with higher speed wont
make a huge a difference.
