Lot of Lag...mayday !!

Hi =)

I got a lot of lag since...a long time. I dunno why, GP4 worked perfectly fine before :/

uncheck the debug mode on GPxPatch and try it. I had a very similar problem very recently. not quite as bad as that admittedly, but very similar symptoms.

as an aside, what graphics card are you using?

Go to options-sounds and untick the 2d and 3d sounds this will improve
the performance of the game considerably.

I got a Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT, with a Intel Core 2 Duo T5450 1.6ghz and 2GB of RAM. I tried both of your tips but...
-the debug mode was already unchecked
-and even if the 2d&3d sounds are desactivated, I still have those probs :/

I've got a Nvidia 8600 GT too. Try to configure your Nvidia graphic card in the Nvidia panel for better performances.

if you are playing the game for a while without a fresh install the f1gstate file can give alot of lag, delete that file, recalibrate again if needed and check it out again

Well, to be more precise, here are some news :
-I got the same problem on other apps...like VLC or...F1GP
-and the ventilator (?) is turning at high speed...

press ctrl+alt+del

and see what processes you have running, maybe you installed something that takes alot or resources, click on cpu and memory and see whats at the top, ending that may solve your problem.

If the fan (ventilator ) is running fast there could be a cpu problem
