Help win xp pro is crashing GP4!!

I have just installed Win XP pro over Win ME and it is making GP4 crash everytime, as soon as the actual graphics load ie. not the menu screens.

Im running a decrypted game with 2002 updates which were put there by GP4master, I am also using GPX patch of which i have tried in Low,Med and high debug mode but to no avail.

Can someone please help me to get this game working with Windows XP pro.

NB, I have increased the resolution and adjusted the screen size on my monitor, could this be an influence?.

Your advice and help will be greatfully appreciated.

I`ve got winXP Pro. Gp4 works fine.

im guessing uve got a via motherboard thingy

download the new via drivers and it WILL fix every single game's crashing problems (i need to install these drivers to run any 3d game for some reason :S, if i dont, the game crashes, hangs, freezes, wont start)

I have geforce 2 mx/mx 400 with driver 3.0.8.2.

This card worked well under ME.

What do you think?

Yes as you can see i said the driver was the 30.82 version.
Im thinking maybe this driver is incompatible?? any suggestions on a solution?.

use the 29.42 drivers, get them from guru3d.com
