Extracting GP4 music?

Is it possible to get it in MP3 format?



Beta tester for;
Descent 3, C & C Generals, Independance War 2, Starfleet Command 2,
Settlers IV, Tzar, Allegiance, Starfleet Command,
MAX 2, Defiance

extract it using CSC 2000 and then use a wav to mp3 converter

Ok, I have Carset creator but how do I extract the files?

ok,

load it,

click menu music converter.

in the filter bar, type erm, *.ST1

hit enter

goto:
[gp4 folder]/sound/pc/

click on one of the files,

enter a name to save the wav as.

save it,

hope it works (this hasnt been tested by me, but i have heard that this works)

Cool, it worked. All 3 files are abouyt 20 megs in size as a Wav file, gonna convert to MP3 now. Thx alot.
