Im using Lee´s Ferrari liveries with 2009 yohan temmplate

Just save your .gp4 file with a $ at the end of its name (it's a flag for you to know it's locked, you will have to remove it later for the release).
But Beware : there's no option to unlock files locked this way so be sure to always keep an original unlocked file.

haven't a few people mentioned here before they can use gp4 genius to unlock the .gp4 file ?

It's released.. Does someone have F1 Challenge and could check which cars are really converted from GP4?

I have F1 Challenge but refuse to touch that CD ever again...

Wich ferrari did they used anyone knows?

Its not really stupidity, its just people not educated about copyright, they think they are creating a legitimate 'compilation' and usually people like this are very young in their teen years, so give them a break, they probably think they are doing something fun, and don't need such harsh words to break them down.

its always from a base off another car. only Isaint gets permission to release modification. but so what????. These guys "F1-Mania 2009" have no permission, but in reality arent doing that much different to isaint, as they most probably don't know that they need permission (need is the chosen word in this forum, as its become 'need' over the years, even though in different countries their are different copyright laws, and a lot of the times people use a persons car in a mod and DO give reference to the car maker and dont quote they made it themselves, but it seems its still necessery to ask the maker first these days.)

There is a huge problem in this forum, where people dont want to be tolorent and understanding and talk things through, but rather call others 'leechers' and degrade them and make them obey grandprixgames copyright rules.

why use F1 Challenge? Doesn't Zmodeler open .mts files?

Ok, I will Download the mod and post screens of the cars.

@Jimbob : my version of GP4Genius can't do that.

u need to open the shape with zmodeler and then save it and then the shape is locked. u can only open the shape with gp4builder and not with zmodeler

I didn't know this option Laurent.
Finally I am happy to have not released yet any file this year....

WTF are you talking about you numbskull, Isaint made the Williams from scratch.

not entirely, it was based on yohan's template/shape.

The ferrari in the f1-mania 2009 mod is from Birkuc he made this around the release of the original car launch.
This is the same model somebody converted for gp4.
