i think my pc is backwards :(

Win ME: 20fps 80po
Win XP: 20fps 30po

now, is it me or is my pc actiing different to everyone elses? :P

Nope... your PC is your best friend (or Bills best friend).

I get more or less the same result when I upgraded ages ago. GP3 2000 ran a lot smoother and do did every other game in fact.

The only problem I experienced is that high speed overtaking is a tad hairy now its not in slow-mo
