Anyone managed to rip off a sidepod and get back to the pits. If so did they repair ir. I just did a 100% race, on amature in Oz, and i managed o rip off jos's sidepod. I continued for 10laps after that, and he had yet to pit in, but was running 9th, and had no drop off in lap times. I didn't find out if his pitcrew repaired it cause my pit wouldn't let me go, and with 40laps left i weren't haning about to see.
I would try it myself but i am finding it imposibble to rip of a sidepod without ripping off too wheels or stalling it.

the damage indicator doesnt know ure damaged and the pit crew dont think so either. i didnt notice my performance change :(

they do repair it (even if it looks clumsy when they do)

I don't think GC has ever incorporated sidepod damage proberly (ie so it changes the performance, or registers as damage) since it first appeared in GP2
