TGA files in corel help

Whenever I try to export or save a file to tga format in corel photo-paint it merges the objects with the background, is there anyway for this not to happen?

btw, when modding it helps to listen to The Chain by Fleetwood Mac, to get you in the mood for f1

Try another format, then convert to tga. Most ppl use PS.

This will always happen, as tga's dont support layers (alpha channel(s) yes, but no layers).
Only save your work as .tga when you want to make it a tex, dont use tga as you only texture format during development of the livery!

but when i try and put it in game it comes as white car(i know, another white car..etc..etc)



its nothing special I just want to get it in game but it doesnt work when i try to name the files correctly or anything.

Sorry to bring this up again, but its still not working and I was wondering if I could send the files to one of the more experienced painters to see if they can get it in game, its a Tyrell 022 on Yohans 2009 template(something easy to start with). I can get the shape in game but no textures because corel itself does not support alpha layers.


also im not sure how to do different numbers on the car so I left it without for the time being.

Your problem will be fixed if you've got Photoshop. Save your files in .tga, 32bits. The box compress (RLE) must be disabled.

Or send me your files by pm if you can't do it...I'll check this.
