outstanding MOD !! reminds me GREAT time with GP2

is there a simple way to display suggested gear in cockpit ?

i just looked at this thread, and first thing that came up was the track criticism of the brazil track. First thing i thought to myself was that this guy will get slagged. He probably means well, but my first thought was, why even bother?? it almost seems inappropriate in a release thread to post such a comparison. Now if i play the brazil track i might think subconciously that the mod isnt as realistic as i first thought! but previously i thought it was perfectly realistic! I didnt want to know the stupid sign is 5 cm away from where it should be! why spoil it? its great, maybe the criticism could have been sent to the mod makers personally? not show off to everyone that you got nothing better to do with your time then make these pedantic comparisons.... geez, now i have become one of the slaggers i first mentioned (Im sorry, take no notice), its just some initial thoughts i wanted to get off my mind.

But the actual comparison and the work that went into it is actually quite impressive, i can see you are on the ball. I think this fella should get into track editing and help make the GP4 tracks more real, he obviously is on the ball about what is required, so i shouldnt be slagging him at all i guess...

But maybe the comparison to real life could have been done in a more appreciative way as to what was achieved instead of saying what should be/shouldnt be, because then it becomes a case of 'you make it, if you think you can do better'

Small thing about Aida: You can hear the pit horn all over the circuit as if you were standing next to it when someone enters the pits. Nothing big, but it may be fixed for further releases.

I've had the pithorn issue on a few tracks and was finding it quite offputting. I found disabling it in GPX did the trick.

it's not track related but only a gpxpatch option.

Ah, I see. Where can I switch it off then?

I can't start the mod, cause CSM says, I don't have the latest version. When I click on update and he want to download it, my Kaspersky says, it got a virus.

Discovered a bug a few minutes ago. In cockpit view, the lap counter is actually your position and vice versa. Look at the picture, should be ficed for next update cause it kinda confused me at first
Oh and notice that the lap counter is only for your current turn (at least in free practice and qualy), it does not show how many laps you've done in total. That's why it says 14 laps in the gpxpatch overlay

I love the mod and I think that this one should be worked on most now. There is a major problem with the Ferrari in that I think that the red is too bright. Also I want the Bennetton onboard camera from the left hand side below the driver because that is my favouriee onboard view.

If anyone wants to make 1994 tracks, give me a PM and we'll get started.

I am working in the tracks.

They lack: A1 RING (fictitious), Estoril, Jerez, Suzuka and Adelaide.

If somebody to know, could help:
- you chicanes to make them in Barcelona and Spa,
- chicanes to make it in the entrance of the PITLANE in TI-AIDA,
- chicane to make it (layout 94) in Estoril.

count me in for this again, i have worked out how to do it and after a quick test at Barcelona it works! it won't be 100% perfect, but i think it will be as close as possible.

i will need help with the cc-line once i am finished though.

about estoril, don't expect an official 94 version anytime soon. i wouldn't mind if anyone else wants to have a go at that in case it's ok for pimpones, too

The mod is great but I have two questions:

1. Is there a 1994 PLUS Update available?

2. Is there a possibility to have real T-CAM positions?

There were no T-Cams in 1994

evil.hEiNz, had also noticed this problem. The values of the position in the race and total laps are reversed.
You can modify?

I was talking about the cameras sitting in front of the mirrors where you can only see a corner of the steering wheel.

It could be a option to have real or fake on-board camera/t-cam.

BTW: Sorry for the poor choice of the example. I can't find any other footage and youtube isn't helping.
