Tyres? Difficult to choose

There are so many tyres to choose from..new ones but also oldies like goodyear, pirelli etc...maybe you could show me your tyres by screenshots....and let me know where i can get them? thanks....

use lee's 2009 tyres they are very good

i am making a mix of old and new cars,,,,,,,i just downloaded lee's 2009 tyres but this pack doesnt contain wet treads...to be honest i only like the mclaren wheel in this package.

I don't know if it is possible to have more than two kinds/brands of tyres...

You can have different brands on the rims but you can't have more than one tyre shape as far as I know

any screenshots of very nice tyres would be highly appreciated....goodyear, pirelli, bridgestones, michelin?

What shape are you going to use ?

In my opinion best looking slicks are Lee's 97 tyres, you get both Goodyear and Bridgestone

If you want Pirelli's then use the 91 tyres

You want larger tyres try the ones from 1979

do you think it's possible to use mclaren wheel from pack lwc's 2009, the goodyear tyre from 1997 and the pirelli tyre from 1991 altogether in one game? or isn't this possible?

yes it's possible but you will most likely need to edit textures to fit with tyreshapes because you can only use one tyreshape for all teams.

ive released 2009 wet treads seperately, and you can use 3 types of tyre brand in game at 1 time

I'm kind of confused on how to use Lee's 2009. The readme isn't really helping. How do I exactly install them because I'm making a 2009 mod in CSM and I'm making the finishing touches and this is one of them!

The read me tells you how to install them into a standard wad, i dont use csm ever so why would i put that in a read me.

You put all the files in the tyres folder as far as I know

You still need to download the actual tyre shape though

Back to basics... I feel like a newbie! hahahahaa!!!

i do not understand why the mclaren's have their own tyre shape? does anyone know why this is? and can i use this mclaren shape only for mclaren?

mclaren doesnt use a different shape, just a different set of textures,and i put in the read me of most of my tyres how to use all 3 sets at once, maybe you should check first before posting on how to do things

2008 readme

Includes 2 sets of dry treads,normal and white line version.
3 sets of tyrewalls,bbs,oz and mclaren enkei rims.
All 3 can be used at the same time assigned to different cars.
Any car named mclaren will be assigned the mclaren rims in the perf but only works in slot 2 as shown below,
thats why its best to have the actual mclaren car named properly.

additional question, could i use tread textures from one pack and wheel textures from another one or isn't this possible?

As long you use the tyre shape in the package whit the rims you are using it will be all right. When you use another tyre shape, you might have some problems, but it could also work whitout any problems
