After I use team editor to update wheel positions and team order cars etc, if I open CSM it says that the gp4.exe has been edited by another utilities and I need to download a new gp4.exe. What gives?
All that work of updating cars.wad and then updating tracks with TSM etc etc !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know personnaly how CSM works indeep but I havn't touch anything in saving code of TeamEditor so I doubt it is new to 3.5 revision. (And if it isn't new, I never heard about this before badly).

For CSM just save the .car file and put it in Data\Patch rather than exporting to the gp4.exe

I've got the same problem with TeamEditor and CSM. I want to update tyres and steering wheel positions.

@ b-tone: What do you mean with save the .car file?

Do you mean cars.wad?

He means car file from Team Editor (Save Team File).

Can't launch TeamEditor 3.5. Don't know why.

I just found a big bug where if you apply a tyre position to one car it will apply it to all cars.

that's not a bug, that's how TeamEditor works

I meant that it would apply it to other team's cars as well as the car selected.

I perfectly understood that

I'm having trouble with teameditor. For some reason, everytime I try to open it up TeamEditor crashes and says "blah blah blah encountered problem needs to close." I'm using Windows XP SP3 if it means anything btw.

@mclarenaustralia: Briere is right, that's the way TeamEditor works, you can only change tyre positions once for all cars. Only GP4Tweaker/CSM can change them individualy for each team.

@redtop56: It means nothing as I also have XP SP3
As usual, it might come from a corrupted (or too much tweaked) GP4.exe

Then how can I convert TeamEditor Positions to Tweaker?

I don't know what's tweaker unit but TeamEditor's are in cm.

I had a search and found that there is a excel file that converts it, does any on have it?

I can't open TeamEditor and the old version too.

try opening regedit on your computer, and find and delete the entry for lo2k's tools.
